Who we are

Built from the Ground Up

The CryptoHawks are a FIRST Robotics Competition team from Urbana High School in Ijamsville, Maryland. Founded in 2022, we design, build, program, and compete with a 150-pound robot every season — all in six weeks.

Every student on this team has a role. Every role matters.

Three Sub-Teams. One Robot.

Mechanical

Designs and builds every mechanism on the robot. If it moves, Mechanical built it.

Control

Programs autonomous routines, writes teleop code, and wires the electrical system.

Partner Relations

Manages sponsors, runs outreach, and handles communications and social media.
